Lydia was born in Schuylkill County, PA. Both the Fretig and the Eisenhauer families were Mennonites. Lydia and Benjamin had a number of children including Suzanna (Susanna) born 1844 and died about 1912. Suzanna married Adam Brightbill of Bethel Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.
