He lived in Scandia and had a studio there. My grandfather was born in 1890 so he was there at that time and was also still taking picture there until after my mother was a few years old. She was born in 1918. After that he went to California to visit his daughter and died there. His second wife continued to live in Scandia and died there in 1948.
