I am looking for the wife of Thomas West (one of three brothers to move to Scandia from England). All I have is a J or I from Scotland born in about 1854. Looking for females of that age from Scotland in 1880 around Scandia, I found a Jesse the daughter of Margret, living next to James Brown, whose daughter married William, Thomas' brother. Thomas and J's youngest was Thomas Jr. born in 1889 and the oldest is Bessie born in 1882. Thomas has no wife in 1900. Does this match anything you have?
