Surnames: MYERS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Vm.2ADI/115.2 Message Board Post: My great-grandfather, Jacob Myers, Aged, 79 yrs. 2 mo. 4 days is buried in the Washington Cemetery in Republic, KS. He was also a Civil War Veteran from 1861-1865. He died October 14, 1902. My great-grandmother, Nancy Myers is also buried there. Marker reads: I came forth from the Father and am come into the world again. I leave the world and go to the Father (John 16:28) 2 miles north of Republic and 3 miles east. I visited the cemetery in 2001 during July and the temperature was 115 degrees in the shade. If I lived closer I'd help you, but I live in California. Thank you, Suzanne Lenahan Long Beach, CA
