Dennis, I just looked in my Republic Kansas History book it lists a Joseph T Patterson. It tells about his enlistment in Feb 17th 1863 at Chillicothe Ohio where he served and that he was honorably discharged at Columbus Ohio May 27th 1865.Maybe he was a minister later. I don't know it doesn't say anything about that. T. Patterson, Officiating. Was J. T. Patterson a Justice of Peace or Minister? The marriage took place in Kansas and probably Belleville, Republic County where my grandfather grew up. My grandmother was from nearby in Hubbell, NB. > Hope there is a Historian who has this info. > > Thanks in advance for this assistance.
