His ggrandparents are George William Whiteacre born abt 1863 in ( we believe ) Casey County, KY and Francena Louisa Grandon. We know that George and Francena had 2 other children besides Walter William. Their other two was a daughter named Onandas (Whiteacre) Scott, and a son named Edgar George Whiteacre, Sean's grandfather. We think Onandas was older than Edgar. Edgar was born on Oct. 7, 1893 in Wichita County, TX and married Edna Frances Mays. George and Francena are buried in Fairview Cemetery in Denison, TX. Edna died abt 1948/49 we are not sure. Edgar died in Nov. 1962 in New Mexico. We think we found George with his parents in Kentucky because in the 1930 Census it says that he was born in KY and so was his parents. His parents were Alexander born abt 1844 in KY and Sciohta Hargis born abt 1846 in Pulaski County, KY. thanks Charles G.
