Those individuals looking for information on family members who worked for railroads may be able to get information from the Railroad Retirement Board. This agency maintains records on employees of the railroad throughout the country. You can get further information about obtaining records at http://www.rrb.gov/geneal.html The family member does not have to necessarily retired from the railroad. I got information on my Grandfather who had retired from the railroad and also about my father who worked only a few years for the railroad. They sent me copies of all the records they had on both of these people. Hope this helps and good luck with your search. Sharon
