Mr. Davis was born Sept. 25, 1868, at Spirit Lake, Ia.; moved to Wellington with his parents in 1876. He had been a resident of Hutchinson since September, 1948. He was a paint contractor. Survivors are the widow, Vestine, of the home; a niece, Opal Ostrander, 418 West 16th; two nephews, Paul G. Ostrander, Denver, and Earl D. Ostrander, Portland, Ore. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, with Rev. James Christianson officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Elliott and Gard Chapel.
