Obits are from an index card file at the Hutchinson Public Library. ---------------------------------- Henry B. Lepp McPherson – Henry B. Lepp, 74 died Thursday at McPherson Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 18, 1905, in Harvey county, he married Marie Brauer May 2, 1938, at Hutchinson. He was a retired machinist. Survivors: widow, of the home; brothers: John, Palo Verde, Calif.; Albert, Denver; sisters: Mrs. Alice White, 711 West 12th and Mrs. Florence Stucky, Lancaster, Calif. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Buhler Mortuary Chapel; the Rev. Curt Boese. Burial will be at Buhler Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 until 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. Dates typed on the obit index card filed at the Hutchinson Public Library b: 18 Aug 1905 d: 20 Mar 1980 -------------------------------------- Marie Lepp Buhler – Marie Lepp, 97, died Aug. 22, 3003, at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson. She was born Sept. 30, 1905 at Beaver City, Okla., the daughter of Wilhelm F. and Mabel Schroeder Brauer. She atteneded Bethel College for two years and Fort Hays College, where she earned her Life Teaching Certificate. She taught school in Harvey and Reno counties for 10 years and worked as an LPN for many years, retiring from McPherson Hospital. She belonged to Buhler Mennonite Church. On May 2, 1938, she married Henry Lepp at Hutcinson. He died March 20, 1980. Survivors include: a nephew, Gary Brauer, Derby; two nieces, Carolyn Johnson, Walton, and Nadine Willems, Windom; and many great-nephews and great-nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill; three sisters, Katie Milton, Lyta Bullard and Norene Bullard; and a nephew, Richard Brauer. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Buhler Municipal Cemetery, Buhler, with Pastor Bob Dalke presiding. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at Buhler Mortuary, Buhler. Memorials may be sent to Buhler Mennonite church or the Buhler Sunshine Home, both in care of the mortuary.
