She was born Feb. 20, 1894, just south of Hutchinson, where she lived prior to entering nursing training at St. Luke's hospital in Kansas City in 1915. She served as a nurse overseas during World War I and later nursed at Kansas City and Los Angeles. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. D. S. Lauver, Wichita, and Mrs. Harry Epperson, RFD 1; and two brothers, Lewis, RFD 1, and John, 605 East 10th. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson and Sons chapel, Rev. H. G.
