In 1952, Ruth Laura Carter was buried in one of the other two lots, but the 3rd one is still vacant. Elizabeth was listed as living at Pennington Farm, located on Route 3, Hutchinson, at the time of her death, and she died as a result of an accident, apparently an accident at the farm. She was 57 years old, and was born in Kentucky. No names were given for her parents at the cemetery, but it was noted they were both deceased when she died. The informant for the cemetery interment card was a woman named Roma Carter. No mention of Duncan McArthur was made. The obituary may have additional information, such as names of other family related to McArthur. The library repairs should have been completed by now, following the accident when a car rammed into the entrance.
