Surnames: Harmony Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Vm.2ADE/1398.3 Message Board Post: My relative, William Jackson Harmony, was a Civil War veteran buried in East Side Cemetery, Hutchinson, Reno Co., Kansas. I have a death certificate for him (died 27 Nov. 1921 in Hutchinson, Reno Co.); an obituary (28 Nov 1921 edition of The Hutchinson News, transcribed by me on Harmony message board); and a brief biography (from the 23 May 1912 edition of The Hutchinson News). I have found census records for him in 1850 (Jefferson Co., MO), 1860 (Jefferson Co., MO), 1870 (Miami Co., KS), 1880 through 1920 (Reno Co., KS) He was born in 1840 in DeSoto, Missouri and came to Hutchinson in 1872.
