    3. Hello List, I have just signed on and am looking for help with not many clues. "May HENDRY", "May Green, 21 yrs old of Nickerson, Reno Co, KS" is listed as an heir in the probate papers (dated May, 1890) of Appanoose Co, IA for Henry C. ROOT. (He died out of state in Hoboken, NJ, but his home was Appanoose Co, IA.) I have been searching censuses backwards and forwards for her and family. The best I come up with is she may be the daughter of Edward Hendrey and Rosy unknown. Her mother should have been born in OH. She may have married Burk GREEN 1879 in Nickerson, Reno Co, KS. (above info from Familysearch.org) Other than this, I only have a couple of census guesses that sort of fit. Any other help will be much appreciated! Thanks to all, Marcia Snyder
