I simply can't get any info on his ancestry and am hoping that a marraige record would list his parents names. Also, it would give me a record of their marraige . Hi, I checked the Reno County, Ks Early Marriage Records and found the following: W. H. Collier, 24, Reno Co., KS. Octavia Desboullons, 15, Reno County, KS. Married 10 February 1897, Hutchinson, KS. The original records are stored with the Probate Court of Reno County. This marriage is recorded in book 5 on page 293. I will try to get a copy of the record or at least the information on the marriage. It may take me a week or two because I have several other projects that are keeping me busy. I get to the court house at least once a week so I will look for you.
