Richmond, 72, 203 East F, died Monday following a long illness. Born Jan. 26, 1902, in Woods County, Okla., he married Florence Doty, Dec. 18, 1924, at Newton. She died July 6, 1973. He retired in 1967 from the Reno County Highway Dept. He was a veteran of WWI and a member of the Don Shaffer Barracks No. 180 and the American Legion. There are no immediate survivors. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Johnson and Sons Chapel: Rev. Ralph Brown. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Friends may cal 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
