Your information certainly DOES clear up this misconception. An apparently uninformed descendent of George Hall Bunker (Leonard Arthur Bunker's father) told me "our" L. A. Bunker was the benefactor of the library etc. in Hutchinson. Like I said before, I doubted the story because from what I've learned about ole Leonard, he wasn't benefactor to much except, perhaps, the saloon trade! He and his wife briefly, however, DID try homesteading in Kansas--have photo--perhaps that's where the confusion with "your" L. A. Bunker came up. Appreciate your help! Nancy Bunker Bowen
