She was born June 6, 1904 in Barton County, the daughter of Harry and Nancy Black Winders. A Hutchinson resident since 1910, she was a retired clerk for Coberly Drug, Hutchinson. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Human Society, both of Hutchinson. On Dec. 3, 1940, she married Wallace Clarke at Larned. He died Aug. 16, 1973. Survivors include: numerous cousins. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Pastor Doug Hasty presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 300 East 30th, Hutchinson.
