My grandparents were Arthur Willis and Iva Pearl (Snodgrass) Bookless. I have a copy of your letter 10/10/93 to my aunt Lulu and the Snodgrass geneology, given to me by her son three years ago. Have you traced the Booklesses back farther than David and Mary (Cartmell)?

Hello List, I am searching for my Ancestor's name in 1900 Census. I found his father, which is Samuel C. Henry, born 27 Dec 1835, in Roscoe, Reno, KS, Roll T623-496, Page 3B, ED # 214, but I can't find his son, Robert L. Henry, born 2 March 1867, on any 1900 Census. Could someone please search the 1900 Census in Kansas to see if they can locate him? Thank you, for any information.

You might find partial listings on line. Microfilms of the Hutchinson City Directories are available at the Kansas State Historical Society. You can find out what they have via their website. You can get the microfilm via Interlibrary loan. I don't know about your library, but the microfilm loan is free at my library here in Lincoln, Nebraska. In most cases, you might have to pay the postage to get the microfilm to you and back to the historical society. You begin the process by finding out the reel number and title for the microfilm at the Kansas State Historical Society site. You order the microfilm through your library. You can probably do this via the internet if your library has a website. The library contacts KSHS. The microfilm comes directly to the library and you have to use it there also. Usually you have it for two weeks after it arrives. The Kansas State Historical Society site is at: http://www.kshs.org/ Hope this helps. I've used the Interlibrary loan a lot. It works great, even with a little waiting time. You can do it in the comfort of your own library and just pay the cost for the copies! Carl Sprouse
