Surnames: Smith Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Vm.2ADE/1372 Message Board Post: I was hoping someone could help me find a bite more info on the following couple. I am helping a friend research his family and because of the common surname of Smith I can not get to far. I was hoping for a marriage reccord or obit or something that could lead to their respective parents. Clyde Smith was born 14 Dec 1891 died Jan 1968 in Hutchinson, Reno Co, KS Goldie was born 13 Nov 1893 in KS and died Aug 1982 in Hutchinson, Reno Co., KS I found Clyde and Golide in the censuses: 1920 (Hutchinson) and 1930 (Clay Twp) in Reno Co, KS. They had two daughters Helen (1914) and Noema (abt 1918) (spelling?) I estimate they were married between 1910 and 1915. The 1920 and 1930 census differ on where they respective parents were born. According to their grandson, Clyde work in the local paper mill and at least since the 60's lived on East 4th street in Hutchinson. Again any leads would be great. Thank you for your time and assistance. Constance (pigcrafts@hotmail.com)

Good day fellow ghost chasers. I am doing some research for a friend and could use help in locating the Obit and/or the newspaper account of a death on Aug. 31, 1923. It is thought that Dollie Halderman, spouse of Wm. Carl Williams was killed in an auto/train accident at a railroad crossing. Thanks in advance for any info on this person and event. Hugh
