Surnames: McOsker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Vm.2ADE/156.254.308 Message Board Post: Hi. I believe I am in this bunch you are talking about here. My great grandfather & grandmothers names are Charles Emmett McOsker & Mary Etna Black. Their son, Van Cleve McOsker, is my grandfather, who married Edna Josephine Arndt. Their son, Kenneth McOsker is my father. I guess that means that Mary Persia & my grandfather, Van Cleve are brother and sister. She would be my fathers aunt, and her son, Dan Stolpe, would be his nephew, if I have all of this right. It sure can get confusing. I never got to meet Van Cleve, as he and my grandmother were divorced when my dad was young. However, I did get to see a picture of him. Anyway, all four of Van Cleve and Edna's children ended up living in San Antonio. Unfortunately, my father passed away in 1998 and his brother, Arthur, passed away several years before him. Their other two, Floyd and Maxine are still living, though. I hope you will tell Mary Persia that I am sorry we never got to meet and also that I would have l! iked to have had the chance to meet her brother, my grandfather, before he passed away.
