Jann Gerdes Collman was a brother of Agthe (Agte) Collmann, so your theory that Reinhardt was a nephew is correct. Reinhardt's sister Anna married Thomas DeWerff, my gr-gr-grandfather, in Macoupin County, IL, and they settled in Ellinwood, Barton County, KS. I am listing the children of Gerd Reinders Collmann and Frauke Willms Zimmerman Janssen below, and I have more information about earlier generations in Ostfriesland and full names of spouses of these children that I would be happy to share. Children of Gerd Reinders Collmann (1777-1846) and Frauke Willms Zimmermann Janssen (1786-1869): Antje (born 1805, married a Reiners in 1829) Jann Gerdes (1807-1865; married Gretje Gerdes Kuper in 1832) Helena (born 1809, married a Fahnster in 1837) Taalke Gerdes (1812-1813) Gerhard Reinders (1814-1814) Reinder (born 1815, married a Lünemann in 1845) Agthe Margaretha Gerdes (born 1818, married a Kuper in 1846) Taalke (born 1821, married a Rebel in 1851) Willm Gerhard (born 1824, married a Schlachter in 1850) Daughter (stillborn 1826) Anna (1829-1829) Anna (born 1830) Tim DeWerff
