Knight lot Knight, Joseph B. b. 10-16-1843, d. 8-3-1915 Arvonia, bd. 8-6-1915, heart trouble -Husband of Margaret (Evans) m. 2-11-1874 (see) -Father of: . Francis O. (see) . Joseph L. (see) . Thomas (adopted son) -1875-1900 Arvonia farmer 4/0 kids? -Thomas, his brother John and sister Mary left Wales with their father and stepmother. Upon arriving in Kansas City, their father went to purchase the train tickets while they waited. He never returned. Money was raised locally to send the four of them to their destination in Arvonia. Once they arrived in Arvonia, the stepmother decided that she didn't want to raise the 3 children on her own so she abandoned them, as well. John was adopted by John and Jane Price.
