On their arrival in Kansas, Ario and his parents purchased 800 acres of lush prairie 4 miles east of Reading, in Osage county. -The original 2-story house was still standing in 1976. An addition was added to the original house on the farm when Ario made it his home. Later, the original house was moved to a location north of the large house. Another addition was built where the original house stood.
