The Carobondale Record Osage County Saturday June 23, 1888 Thomas J. CHASE and Mary E. GOSS, both of this neighborhod, were married in the Congregational church at eight p.m., Wednesday of this week, in the presence of a number of our people. The simple yet impressive service of the Congregational church was performed by Rev. M.J. Morse, after which the married couple received the congratulations of friend and acquaintances present. The Record extends its heartiest congratulations to two very worthy young people and wishes them a life full of happiness. Both bride and groom are spoken of in the highest terms by those who knew them best.
