The Carbondale Independent Thursday April 15, 1886 J.E. YOUNG, a new-comer has bought the mine (slope) southwest of town. On Thursday last, in his absence, some mischievous boys, probably, entered his premises, spilled all his oil, and broke a pick. Boys should try to have fun without damaging property.
