The Melvern Review Thursday June 4, 1925 Scott Valley Items. Maggie SIMMONS left for Kansas City last Thursday for a visit with her sister, Bertha. Word received from Beulah SMITH states that she arrived safely in California and enjoyed her trip. Mr. Dan SIMMONS and Dr. Salisbury took Charlie Simmons to Emporia last Wednesday where he had a tonsil and adenoid operation. They returned Wednesday evening and Charlie is getting along fine, tho it was hard to eat much but ice cream for three days. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford GARRETT and Eula Mae spent Sunday evening at Glenn SMITH's. Mr. Chester SMITH recently purchased a side delivery rake, and a hay loader, and will hay this summer in an easier way then heretofore.
