    3. The Melvern Review Osage County Thursday May 21, 1925 Mrs. Lorinda Moore. Lorina POISAL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Poisal, was born April 7th, 1938. She grew to womanhood in Clarksburg, Iowa, where she was married to George C. MOORE, March 15th, 1855. Four children were born to them, viz., William Henry, Alice Melissa, Walter Scott and Carrie Dell. Mrs. Moore outlived all of her children, the youngest, Mrs. Bascom Robbins, having departed this life Mary 12th, 1923. mrs. Moore resided in Kansas 53 years, 13 years of that time at Baldwin, 23 years at Melvern, where in February 1910 her companion passed to his heavenly home. Since then she has lived at various places, the last place 7 1/2 years. Mother Moore resided at the Masonic Home in Wichita from which she went for her crowning, Saturday afternoon, May 16th, 1925. Aged 87 years, 1 month and 9 days. Mrs. Moore became a christian in early childhood and was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and remained faithful member during her whole life time. Mrs. Moore was a charter member of the Melvern Order of Eastern Star, the chapter having organized on her 50th birthday. She is a Worthy Past Matron of the Melvern chapter. Mother Moore is survived by an aged brother, two sisters, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a multitude of other relatives.
