The Enterprise-Chronicle Thursday December 19, 1940 Mrs. Ellen Vincent To Be Deputy Clerk. Mrs. Evelyn REID, newly elected county clerk, has named as her deputy Mrs. Ellen VINCENT of near Scranton. Mrs. Vincent was the Democratic candidate for Register of Deeds in the recent election. She is an ex-school teacher and a very capable woman. Mr. Vincent lost his eye sight several years ago and this appointment will no doubt meet wtih the approval of many over the county.
