The Melvern Review Osage County Thursday June 28, 1923 Mrs. T.J. Plowman. Hanna Catherine STRUNK born in Mifflin county, Penn., April 29, 1836. She was married to J.T. PLOWMAN at the same place August 4th, 1853. To them were born nine children, eight of whom survive her. She came to Kansas in 1871 and has lived in Melvern ever since. Her husband J.T. Plowman, passed away in March, 1914. Mrs. Plowman died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William ALLISON. She was eighty-seven years of age. There survive her five daughters, and three sons; forty grandchildren, fifty-six great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church, Rev. J.R. Wood officiating, and interment made in the Melvern cemetery. ===== Chas. Plowman and his sister, Mrs. REBEN, of Iowa, came Tuesday for their mother's funeral.
