Recently discovered Findagrave.com and overjoyed to find actual photo's of some of our Thornbrugh family in Oak Hill Cemetery. And then... reference in Currey Cemetery to an I.N. Thornbrugh. No further information and no photo's. The submitter of the information has apparently passed away and I have no idea where or who to contact for further information. (where did the name come from?) We have searched for years for information on our L.N. (Lemuel Newton) Thornbrugh and found nothing. In all my files of Thornbrugh names - never have I seen a Thornbrugh with the first initial of "I". Is it possible - this is indeed reference to our mystery/missing ancestor? Can anyone tell me how to proceed? Where burial records for Currey Cemetery might be kept? I have checked with the county government offices and they write that they find nothing for him... he simply disappears after a second marriage (Julia Hasty) in September 1886. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
