    3. The Melvern Review Thursday August 20, 1925 Oscar Hunter Very Low. Physicians are exerting every effort possible to restore health to Oscar HUNTER. Cancer of the liver has been pronounced as the cause of his illness. He has not been feeling well for the past two or three weeks and considered the matter in a mediocre way, but Saturday, his physical conditions was such that he was forced to go to bed. Since that time he has been in a very serious condition. ================= Same newspaper; August 27, 1925 Oscar SESTROM was born at Burlington, Iowa, March 30, 1866, and died at Melvern, Kansas, August 20, 1925, at the age of 56 years, 4 months, and 21 days. When 5 years of age his mother died and he was given a home with Mr. and Mrs. N.R. HUNTER of Burlington, Iowa. He was always a good, obedient son to them and since the death of Mr. Hunter has tenderly cared for his aged foster mother. He came to Melvern from Kansas City in 1913. He has won many friends here among the people with whom he was associated. He leaves to mourn his loss his foster mother, Mrs. N.R. Hunter, one brother and three sisters, Edward Ramsey, Mrs. Ida Thulin, Miss Clara Ballard, all of Melvern and Mrs. Alice Muser of Omaha, Nebraska, besides other relatives and a host of friends.
