The Melvin Review Thursday July 23, 1925 Narrowly Escapes Injury. Sim DOOTY narrowly escaped injury last Tuesday morning when he attempted to crank a Chevrolet touring car which was in gear at the time. When the motor started the car gave a sudden lunge forward and had Dooty been a little slower in his moving the car would have passed over him. After missing Dooty, the car plunged into a telephone pole. The radiator was slightly damaged and required some repairing. The car was owned by Mr. Carlson of Olivet.
