The Osage County Courier Osage County Friday March 2, 1894 Married.--On Wednesday, Feb. 21st, at the residence of the bride's parents, Miss Carrie DUNCAN and S.J. THATCHER, all of near Wakarusa. Miss Duncan is the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Duncan, one of the most highly respected and prosperous farmers in Wakarusa, and is held in the highest esteem by all who know her. The groom is a prosperous, industrious farmer, with a bright future before him. A few invited guests were present. After the ceremony, which occurred at 8:30, the company were invited to the dining-room, where an elegan supper awaited them, and a most enjoyable evening was spent. The happy couple have a host of friends who will join the Courier in wishing them a long, prosperous and happy life.
