    3. The Carbondale Independent Osage County Thursday September 13, 1883 Died, in this city, on Saturday morning, Sept. 8,m 1883, George C.B. MOORE, aged nineteen years and eleven months. Deceased was the youngest son of Dr. C.C. Moore, and was born at Auburn, Shawnee county, Kansas, at the time his father was largely interested in an effort to make that place the State Capital. From Auburn deceased came to this place with his father, where with the exception of brief intervals, he has remained ever since, and was closely identified, socially, with the young people of the city and vicinity, all of whom regret his untimely death. Deceased had only been confined to his bed a few days when death came, although the had been in poor health during the summer. The cause of his death is said to be rheumatism of the heart. All sympathize with his bereaved parents, he being their only remaining son.
