The Carbondale Independent Thursday October 11, 1883 John W. JANUARY, of Illinois, one of the unfortuantes of Andersonville prison pens, was a caller on Saturday. He lost both feet during his confinement in prison. J.N. SCHAFER wishes us to inform the public in his behalf that all stories to the contrary he is ready and willing to sell to every one, no matter what his views.
