The Carbondale Journal Thursday July 17, 1879 HOCKEUBER is plastering DICKINSHEETS new house. Mr. Fred DICKENSHEETS, of the Sidny, (O.) Journal, called on us Monday. Mr. John ELLIS had a fall in his granary last Saturday. He was considerably hurt, but is able to be on the streets again this week. The house of Mr. McClure, just north of town, was struck by lightning last night. Mrs. McClure was knocked dow and her husband was stunned. A dog belonging to the family was killed. No serious damage was done.
