The Carbondale Independent Osage County Thursday December 6, 1883 Died, in this city, on Wednesday, November 28, 1883, Edgar, youngest son of James and Pluma DICKINSHEETS, aged three years, three months and eight days. The little fellow was sick but a few days and was not considered to be in danger until a day or two before his death, when he commenced failing, and although everything was done for him that could be, he died on the day above mentioned. Mr. Dickinsheets had been telegraphed for, but word did not reach him until Friday when he was on his way home, and was a terrible blow to hom. The funeral took place from the house on Sunday morning, and was largely attended, a large concourse going to the cemetery at Wakarusa where the body was interred. The sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved parents, in this their sad bereavement.
