The Carbondale Independent Osage County Thursday September 20, 1883 John T. MAY, of Carbondale will try for a delegation at the Republican primary in that city, in his interest as a candidate for the office of Register of Deeds. Mr. May has an exceptionally good record. He has always been found on the right side of every question and is very highly respected. As to his ability for the place, we can speak from personal knowledge, Mr. May is at present one of the Justices of the Peace of Ridgeway township, is a miner by profession, and would be a strong element in the ticket this fall, if he should be nominated.--Chronicle.
