I the mid-50s? we visited several times with a Buddy Carruthers, wife Ruby, and son whose name I believe was Donald. I'm reasonably sure that Buddy was a cousin of some degree. I have a news item of Margaret Roth's birthday celebration in 1932 at Scranton that you posted a few years ago. It lists Leonard Carruthers and wife of Topeka among the guests. I found a Henry and a John Carruthers (probably father and son, based on ages) in Scranton on the 1920 census. No doubt this is the family I'm looking for but I don't know how they connect!
