The Carbondale Independent Osage County Thursday February 8,1883 We was startled to hear of the death of Mrs. Katie JOHNSON, who died Saturday the third at five o'clock in the morning, the cause of her death being quick consumption. She was buried in the U.B. church yard on Sunday at one o'clock. Ther funeral sermon will be preached next Sunday at 11 o'clock by Mrs. Reeder. The deceased leaves a husband and one child as well as numerous friends to mourn her loss.
