Relatives of Burlingame received word this week of the death of Mrs. James HOGGINS at her home in Seattle, Wash., burial being made there yesterday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Hoggins, former well-known residents of this city, had resided in the Pacific Northwest for the past 20 years. The deceased was formerly Miss Anna TURNBULL of Scranton. Surviving are her husband, three sons, Edwin Hoggins of Portland, Ore., and Ralph and Robert Hoggins of Seattle.

WHITE and daughter, Miss Pearl WHITE, were in Scranton last Thursday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Hannah DROHM whose tragic death by fire occured on Monday of last week. Of a group of 25 persons who came to Scranton from Headley Hill Terrace, county Durham, England, with their families about 60 years ago, Mr. White alone survives. Mrs. Drohm was the daughter of Jim LOWES, Mr. White's boyhood chum and a member of that group.

The Topeka Daily Capital Monday November 29, 1965 Jackieray Peet Killed in Crash. Osage City.--Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Methodist Church here for Jackieray Peet, 31, Osage City, who was killed in a one-car accident on US-56 about two miles north of here Saturday. He was born Oct. 6, 1934 at Osage City and spent most of his life in the Osage City community. He spent two years in the U.S. Army in Germany. He was a carpenter and was a member of Carpenter's Union Local No. 1445 in Topeka. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virginia Peet, of the home; two sons, Donald Peet and Dale Peet, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray O. Peet, Osage City; a sister, Mrs. Tony RODRIQUEZ, 1419 E. 10th, Topeka; and a brother, Preston O. Peet, Lakewood, Calif. Burial will be in Osage City Cemetery. McElfresh Mortuary at Osage City is in charge of arrangements.
The Topeka Daily Capital Monday November 29, 1965 Clara McCracken Of Overbrook Dies. Overbrook.--Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church here for Mrs. Clara Jane McCRACKEN, 99, Overbrook, who died Saturday at a Lyndon nursing home. She was born Sept. 29, 1866 at Valley Brook south of Overbrook and spent most of her life in the Valley Brook community. She was a member of the Overbrook Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Valley Brook Club. Her husband, Sidney A. McCracken, died Jan. 17, 1936. A son and daughter also preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Luella BODMAN, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Stella HOLLIS, Overbrook, and Mrs. Helen STAFFORD, Kirkland, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Valley Brook Cemetery. Baker Funeral Home at Overbrook is in charge of arrangements.

There occurred in California recently the dath of a brother and sister, both of whom were former residents of Burlingame. Dave Evans passed away at his home in Santa Monica and three days later his sister, Mrs. Lillie COSGROVE of Long Beach, died, following a long illness. Their funerals were held the same day. The deceased are brother and siter of Mrs. J.E. GEORGE and Evan Evans of this city.

The Enterprise-Chronicle Osage County Thursday April 27, 1939 Mrs. Martha Browning. Funeral services for Mrs. Martha BROWNING were held at the Baptist church at three o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. C.E. Kingsley officiating. The deceased was the widow of the late C.T. Browning, former grocer of Burlingame. She was almost 89 years of age and had been an invalid for several years. Her death occurred about 11 o'clock Monday night, April 24. For the past six months she had been cared for in the home of Mrs. Eliza Vandevord. A daughter her husband, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Curtis were here from Independence at the time of her death.
The Enterprise-Chronicle Osage County Thursday April 27, 1939 Mrs. George M. Duree. Funeral services for Mrs. George M. DUREE, 59, were held on Tuesday, April 25, at the Auburn Methodist church, Rev. D.C. Bonham of Burlingame officiating. Burial was made in the Auburn cemetery. Mrs. Duree, who had lived for several years on the Charlies Slatten farm north of Burlingame, died on Saturday, April 22, 1939, following a stroke suffered a few days before. As Mary Wark, she had lived many years in the vicinity of Burlingame and many friends of both families express regret for her untimely death. She is survived by her husband, G.M. Duree; two sons, George R. and Dale A. Duree; one daughter, Mrs. Rachel HOLLAR; one sister, Mrs. Sam REDD, all of Burlingame; four brothers, Howard E. Wark of Burlingame, Homer E. Wark, of Clarksburg, W.Va., Joe E. Wark of Harden, Mo., and Emery Wark, of Birmingham, Kans., and four grandchildren.
