Lester DUNCAN of Fairfax township, Republican candidate for register of deeds, in Burlingame, one day last week, says he's spending quite a bit of time explaining to folks that this is his first bid for public office. Cause of the difficulty is that quite a few persons have him confused with "Bill" Duncan who served as county commissioner a few years ago. "Although our last names are identical, we're not even related," says the present candidate Duncan whose home is near Scranton.
