Burlingame.--Services for Mrs. Fern Ada DENTON, 61, Burlingame, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Burlingame Federated Church with burial in the cemetery here. Mrs. Denton, a resident of Burlingame since 1929, died Thursday morning in a Topeka hospital. A retired telephone operator, Mrs. Denton was a member of the El Bethel Church in Burlingame. Survivors include her husband, Roy Denton, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Norma Lee BICKFORD, Berryville, Ark.; Mrs. Peggy Lou SAFFLE, Wichita, Mrs. Wanda Jean TWEETMEYER, Saginaw, Mich., and Mrs. Shirley Ann ALLEY, Burlingame; a son, Dean Denton, with the U.S. Navy; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hezakiah PRATER, no address given; two sisters, Mrs. Opal MONTGOMERY, San Bernadino, Calif.; Mrs. Gladys SKIDMORE, Delhart, Tex.; six brothers, Russell PRATER, Spokane, Wash., Roy Prater, Alamogordo, N.M., And Earl, Omer, Ralph and Ray Prater, all of Rossville. Carey Funeral Home, Burlingame, is in charge of arrangements.

The Osage County Courier Osage County Friday December 29, 1893 Harry SIMS met with quite an accident on Tuesday night of last week in the Carbon Company's office, he ran against a window, breaking the glass and received a severe cut on the left side of his face several inches long, which had to be stitched. He also received a bad cut to the left hand from the broken glass. (Osage City.) Mrs. Thos. BOWEN, of Peterton, was driving home in her cart from this city last Saturday evening her horse became frightened and ran away, upsetting the cart and throwing her out into a barb wire fence, breaking her right arm above the wrist and dislocating the elbow. Dr. Artz is attending her and reports her doing as well as could be expected.
