The Osage County Courier Osage County Friday June 29, 1894 The accident to Jacob GABLER, reported in these columns last week, by being kicked by a horse, resulted in his death Monday morning. Mr. Gabler would undoubtedly have recovered from his injuries, but pneumonia set in, which resulted fatally. He leaves a wife and eight children to mourn for the departed father and husband. His sons, are Jacob, Peter, John, Joseph, and William Gabler, and the daughter are Rachel DIETRICH and Misses Anna and Caroline Gabler. Mr. Gabler form his long residence here was well and favorably known as an upright and honest man and Scranton and Osage county loses one of its best citizens. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the whole community in their great affliction.

WOODS, at Aspen, Colorado, which will take place Wednesday, June 27th, at 2 p.m. Howard is an old Carbondale boy and has many friends in this vicinity, who will wish him well in the step he is about to take, and that happiness and prosperity may attend him through life.

The Osage County Courier Osage County Friday June 8, 1894 Chase-Strain. Married yesterday (June 7) at the home of the bride's father, A.C. STRAIN of Overbrook, by Rev. J.P. Wright, of Iola, Kan., Mr. C.F. CHASE, of Knoxville, Ill., to Miss Ida M. STRAIN, of Overbrook. Miss Strain is well known in this section having taught in the public schools of this vicinity for a number of years. Mr. Chase is a brother of our fellow citizen, G.L. Chase. The happy couple left on the 1:17 p.m. passenger train yesterday for Illinois, their future home, from this city. Messrs. Chas. SNYDER, Henry HAYES, and Miss Ida SNYDER accompanied the happy couple to this city to see them off on their journey. The best wishes of a host of friends follow them.
The Osage County Courier Friday June 8, 1894 Ed. REDDICK, who left here in April with the Great American Shows, returned home Wednesday. He reports the show as getting along well, and making money. They are in the northern part of Nebraska.

The Osage County Courier Osage County Friday May 25, 1894 Died.--In Mystic, Iowa, Miss Minnie RAMSEY, aged 22 years and 4 months. The remains were brought to this city for interment in the Osage City Cemetery, and were buried beside her mother and sister, who had preceeded her to the silent city of the dead.
