I should probably checked a map before I stated that Goodrich and Potosi Township were not in Osage County. I am correct, they are both in Linn County Kansas. I do note that Jim is posting these on other lists and perhaps they may be of interest to Osage County historians. I just didn't want anyone to be misled. And I certainly do appreciate Jim's postings for Osage County Kansas. I don't believe "The Goodrich Graphic" was published in Osage County Kansas. May I ask what town? And there is no Potosi Township (That I've ever heard of) in Osage County Kansas. I would be interested in this also, since I am a descendant of John Littell of New Jersey (1640s) and have sent the article to the lady who does our yearly "Littell's Living Age" manuscript. The Carbondale Record Osage County Saturday June 2, 1888 Scranton wants a fire engine and less whiskey. We might sell them our steamer but it's doubtful wheter a trade could be made for the whiskey. John McGRATH's team got away from him Wednesday evening and gave him quite a chase. There was no particular damage done however. Jim DICKENSHEETS will probably remain absent a month. We will send him the Record so that he may be posted on the news here.
