The Burlingame Independent Osage County Thursday July 1, 1886 D.R. GIFFORD, who lived at Prairie Center, and who was recently stricken with paralysis, died on Friday night last. He was buried the following Sunday at that place. Rev. Gibbs former pastor of that place, preached the funeral discourse. The deceased was a highly respected Christian gentleman, to who efforts was largely due to the building of Prairie Center M. E. church.
