    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday March 18, 1968 Henry D. Laue. Lyndon.--Henry Dietrich LAUE, 84, died Sunday at his home northeast of Lyndon. He was born Sept. 11, 1883, at Greenleaf in Washington County and had lived in the Lyndon and Vassar communites since 1904. He was a life member of the Lutheran Church and had been an elder at Zion Lutheran Church at Vassar 27 years. He was a retired farmer. His wife, Mrs. Marie Ulrich Laue, died August 28, 1960. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Esther HAUFLER, Lyndon, Mrs. Minnie MASENTHIN, Vassar, and Mrs. Elsie McINTOSH, Montgomery, Ala.; two sons, Henry J. Laue and Waltger L. Laue, both of Lyndon; a sister, Mrs. Emma OSTRICH, Linn; two brothers, Herman Laue and Walter Laue, both of Greenleaf; 1 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services willbe at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Vassar. Burial will be in Vassar Cemetery. Shaffer-Feltner Mortuary at Lyndon is in charge of arrangements.

The car was found abandoned in Ottawa on Wednesday, afternoon. A Whippet car was found abandoned north of Melvern the same night Mr. Jones' car was taken by "joyriders" who took Mr. Jones' car after abandoning the Whippet. A young man living at Lane has been arrested on suspicion of having the stolen cars.--Melvern Review.

McGRATH and daughter Helen, returned last Thursday afternoon from a three weeks trip to Colorado Springs, Manitou and Denver also Laramie, Wyho., where they visited relatives. George McGRATH spent the weekend with home folks after a week spent in Chicago, and left Sunday evening for Joliett, Ill, where he will have several weeks Santa Fe work. Scott DICKENSHEETS and daughter Miss Dorothy, of Emporia spent last Thursday here with his mother, Mrs. Pluma Dickensheets, also with Mr. and Mrs. H.L. JONES. Miss Dorothy remained to visit a week or ten days at the Dickensheets home.
