The Carbondale Independent Osage County Thursday February 15,1883 Died, at his home, one mile south of this city, on Monday, February 12, 1883, Mr. Richard GOSS in the eighty-ninthy year of his age. The funeral services were held yesterday at the Congregational church in this city, after which the body was taken to the train and started on its long journey to deceased's former home in Vermont to be interred by the side of his wife, long since deceased.

    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Friday August 18, 1961 Augustas A. Peterson. Overbrook--Augustas A. PETERSON, who came to Osage County from Sweden in 1870, died at his home here Thursday. He was 95. A carpenter and stone mason, Mr. Peterson lived in Fairfax township for 91 years. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Overbrook Methodist Church with burial in Carbondale Cemetery. Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
