    1. [KSNORTON] Obituaries posted
    2. Ardie & Greg Grimes
    3. Recently I received a generous donation of box of Norton County obituaries, which I am slowly posting on the Norton County GenConnect Obituary Board. Tonight, I've finished the A's, B's, C's and D's and I'm working on the E's. You can check out what is posted so far on the Obit Board at http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ks/NortonObits It is searchable by surname. I have included many related surnames from the obits which may NOT appear in the information actually posted. If you would like a copy of the full text of any obituary I've posted there, just send a request to the email address listed on the board. I can either scan the obit and send it as a jpg (picture) file via email or for photocopy and postage costs, I can make a photocopy and mail it. If you have Norton County obituaries, you are also more than welcome to post them on the Obituary Board. GENERALLY, materials published earlier than 1 January, 1923, are in the public domain, and may be posted exactly as printed. Materials published since 1 January 1923 ARE copyrighted, and to avoid infringing copyright law, an EXCERPT from the article may be posted. It is safe to assume that the bare FACTS, i.e., name, place of residence, date & place of death, date & place of birth, marriage date, person married, place of burial may be posted without any copyright infringement. It is also very helpful to include the publication name and date, if available. I hope you enjoy these obits as much as I have. Ardie Keep checking back as I will continue to post more as I have the time.
