Tonight, I've finished the A's, B's, C's and D's and I'm working on the E's. If you would like a copy of the full text of any obituary I've posted there, just send a request to the email address listed on the board. I can either scan the obit and send it as a jpg (picture) file via email or for photocopy and postage costs, I can make a photocopy and mail it. If you have Norton County obituaries, you are also more than welcome to post them on the Obituary Board. GENERALLY, materials published earlier than 1 January, 1923, are in the public domain, and may be posted exactly as printed. Materials published since 1 January 1923 ARE copyrighted, and to avoid infringing copyright law, an EXCERPT from the article may be posted. It is safe to assume that the bare FACTS, i.e., name, place of residence, date & place of death, date & place of birth, marriage date, person married, place of burial may be posted without any copyright infringement.
