Hi, this is Ardie, list admin for the Norton County, Kansas mailing list and GenConnect bulletin boards. On other mailing lists that I subscribe to there have been a lot of messages lately with virus warnings both on the mailing lists and in personal responses to queries posted on bulletin boards. I just wanted to make it clear that warnings about viruses are not appropriate for this mailing list. This is a genealogy/history mailing list for Norton County, and therefore virus warnings should NOT be posted here. Please don't think I don't care about the spread of viruses. I worry as much, if not more, than most folks about viruses. But there are many other places to find virus info. If you would like more information about those sites, please contact me privately, off the list.
